NOVA Typeface
Challenge:
Design a typeface of upper & lower case letters, numbers, and some symbols using a set amount of "bricks/parts"
- focus on unity
Execution:
Nova typeface consists of diagonal shaped terminals, rounded shoulders, and rounded square counters. Creating this font in Fontstruct was difficult at times due to the restrictions of the software, but I came to understand the process of making a typeface more and it's neat to be able to type with a font that I made.

TYPE POSTER
Challenge:
Create a hand-drawn font with serifs. Vectorize the font and make a quote poster.
Execution:
The typeface I created has rounded finials and a short x-height to give off a friendly feeling. I chose this quote from Nelson Mandela because I felt it perfectly described the process of making this typeface.
